Hundreds of people died and went missing because of the storm in the Philippines
The worst storm in four decades has left at least 86 people dead and 23 missing in the Philippines. Rescuers are trying to find bodies and rescue trapped people.
According to the AP , tropical storm Ketsana caused the worst flood in 42 years in Manila and 25 other provinces from Saturday. In just 12 hours the storm hit the Philippines with the same amount of water as the rain within a month.

Mr. Gilbert Teodoro, Philippine Defense Minister, announced that floods and landslides left at least 86 people dead and 23 missing. Soldiers, police and volunteers saved more than 5,100 people, many of whom clung to each other on rooftops.
According to officials, more than 435,000 people have to leave their homes. Television stations broadcast images of some people clinging to high-voltage power lines to avoid flooding. Many others stand on the roof of the bus and cars.
