Hybrids create pet dinosaurs

Gene technology is growing to allow humans to produce pet dinosaurs.

Professor Jack Horner, a paleontologist, said humans could use genetic engineering to create a hybrid between dinosaurs and chickens.

Scientists have recognized the theory that birds evolved from dinosaurs. Dinosaurs began to breed in the late Jurassic period to keep their bodies warm and birds were thought to be the closest living relatives of dinosaurs on Earth. " Birds are surviving dinosaurs, and we can really classify them as flying dinosaurs , " Horner said of the International Business Times on Jan. 9.

Genetically engineered techniques have been used to create many species of mammals such as micro-pigs, giving birth to larger rabbits. "We can think of animals that want to breed and find a way to get them , " Horner said.

In May 2015, Horner claimed that scientists were halfway through producing genetically modified chicken dinosaurs. The four major changes they need to make in modern chickens include: teeth, long tail, nose development instead of beaks and wing changes into limbs.

The 2015 Ig Nobel Prize-winning scientists have shown that chickens move differently if they carry a dinosaur tail. Studies show that the process of gradual change in walking gait when dinosaurs such as tyrant dinosaurs and speeding birds evolved into modern birds.

In 2015, researchers succeeded in turning the cockroach into dinosaur nose in the fetal stage after seven years of testing. According to Horner, other changes, including fetal tail predisposition, can be achieved through experimental and breeding techniques.
