Located deep in the Belize jungle in Central America is a cave called Actun Tunichil Muknal or also called ATM containing many human bones over 100 years old.These skeletons are believed to be victims of divine sacrifice.To reach the cave, you need to walk many kilometers through rivers and forests like this.

Discovered in 1989, ATM cave is not easily accessible inside.In the picture is the cave mouth where the sacrifice ceremony takes place.

At the end of the cave is the skeleton of at least 14 people, Mayan sacrifices. These skeletons belong to the aristocracy and are preserved over the years through calcification. They are located in a place of worship called "church".

The skeleton of an 18-year-old girl called "virgin crystal" is considered the most famous among human bones here.The girl is placed in a cave separate from the others and is believed to have died in a violent ritual.In the picture are ceramic objects interspersed with many human bones.

Other skeletons are aged from 1 to approximately 45. All died with head injuries, some leaving marks on the skull.
