The cave is larger than Son Doong

Experts have found a cave in Quang Binh that is rated bigger than Son Doong, the cave holding the largest title in the world.

The explorer Howard Limbert, an expert in the British royal cave association, said the cave is located in the middle of En cave to the main entrance of Son Doong. This cave unfortunately collapsed before humans witnessed the floods eroding the cave walls.

The British and American experts have been diligently exploring the caves and concluding from the cave En to Son Doong there is a 2km long cave. Its remnants are the breakdowns of giant limestone, accompanied by traces of countless stalactites and mosses that break down along the 2km path to Son Doong. The ancient stone samples, stalactites and stalactites were brought to the United States for analysis and scientists determined that the caves collapsed from about 370,000 years ago to nearly 2 million years.

According to Mr. Limbert, if this cave section still exists, it has a length of 2km, bigger than Son Doong many times, because in this section of the cave, according to the computer simulation, it is a place where the floodwaters are strong and eroded. big, creating huge pores.

British and American scientists confirmed that it was the water that created the cave in Phong Nha - Ke Bang, but it also created the flood and collapsed the cave wonders bigger than Son Doong. Its image is only seen through scientists' models; In the coming time, a clear 3D image of a cave will be publicized.

Yesterday, Mr. Limbert had a scientific report on the discovery of new caves in Phong Nha - Ke Bang at the scientific conference " Preserving and promoting the global outstanding value of the national park's natural world heritage Phong Nha - Ke Bang " . Accordingly, scientists discovered 10 vertical caves. They have a depth of 97 - 355 m, in which the most spectacular is the Vertical Cave, when it reaches 323m, a 3.4 km long cave lies below sea level.

The expedition forecasts that some caves will be longer, but the rope technique brought along is not enough to explore further, so stop there.

Also at this workshop, scientists officially recognized the sinking hole in Son Doong Cave, the deepest in Asia with a depth of 450m. At Son Doong's two sinkholes, more than 200 species of plants are found and considered a new record of the number of animals living in caves, including woody species taller than 30m.
