Yes, QuaNext is a TV operating on an open source operating system.
This 19-inch LCD TV can easily and quickly turn into a home computer, just press a single key on the remote control. Similarly, you can also switch from PC mode to TV at a glance with the same key.
QuaNext, a Hong Kong electronics firm, claims its products are "ideal for a common room, bedroom or kitchen, where it is not easy to install a separate computer". The resolution is sufficient at 1440 x 990 pixels, 2GB DDR RAM memory is enough to run all programs smoothly.
Most interesting is this LCD / computer TV set that has a CD / DVD player integrated on top. However, this arrangement can make dirt into the machine quite easily and you will have to repair or replace it earlier than you want.
It is still unclear how much the price or release time of this multi-function TV model is.
