Intel has committed a $ 1 billion budget over a five-year period to support the program. The goal of the World Ahead program includes training more than 10 million teachers in applying technology to education, creating new potentials to reach more than 1 billion students.

Intel's IT education program, whereby every student and student will be using a computer for the development of digital skills, has been being tested in India, Malaysia and the Philippines. Recently, Intel also signed an agreement with Pakistan's Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU), whereby the AIOU will carry out 700,000 Intel educational computers called the Classmate PC.

The Intel World Ahead program is currently being implemented in 9 countries in the Asia-Pacific region, including China, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Pakistan, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Vietnam.
