Intelligent carpet stimulates children to grow
A Taiwanese designer has created a smart carpet that not only plays the baby but also helps develop both the body and the brain.

The device, called JoyCarpet , was developed by Taiwanese designer Meng Ling Yang.
JoyCarpet Smart Carpet will play with your baby to make your baby more active and intelligent.
JoyCarpet is a smart carpet that is equipped with sensors that convert blue LEDs, red flashes and acoustically designed underneath.
Parents can choose from two modes of carpeting. The first mode is designed for infants to crawl. The flashing light on the mat will encourage the baby to crawl toward it.
When the child touches the spotlight, a piece of music will ring. Immediately after that, the spot light moved to another place.
The second mode is designed for more experienced children. The light will move continuously at a speed that is not too fast until the child is touched. Once the baby has 'caught' the spotlight, the music will resound.
Ling Yang said JoyCarpet entertainment will encourage children's curiosity and will help them become more active. Not only that, but also full development of both the brain and the body.
JoyCarpet is one of 12 winners of the second annual Lexus Design Award. By the end of the year, JoyCarpet will be on the market.
