Intelligent knot to monitor your baby's sleep
Arturas Vaitaitis (USA) has developed the "Monbaby" smart knot, which can be attached anywhere on the baby's clothing, helping parents monitor their baby's sleep.
The Monbaby integrates an accelerometer that monitors movement, activity as well as child breathing, and then sends information to an application on the parent's smartphone (within a radius of 61m) via Bluetooth.
This application displays real-time information, whether the baby is sleeping on his or her back, rolling or not, or about to wake up. The Monbaby is equipped with a 3 volt button battery, which can operate for 5 weeks in a row.
In addition to monitoring the baby's sleep, Monbaby downloads data collected over the cloud, allowing parents access through a website to understand their child's sleep habits and share information with the family. Family or doctor.
Vaitaitis is raising capital to mass produce Monbaby through the Kickstarter website. It is expected that the product (with an app on the phone) will be sold for $ 79 in October.
