Invented methods of producing drugs in the air

US scientists are developing powerful new drugs by using sound waves so that the chemical components of the drug are suspended in the air, according to Reuters news agency on Nov. 16.

By applying the technology of NASA, physicist Chris Benmore of the research team at the Argonne National Laboratory has created a pair of wave-capable speakers. sound to each other.

A team of US scientists has devised a way to create drugs
with a structure of indeterminate molecules in the air

"Basically, sound waves are a kind of pressure wave. So what you have here is a source of pressure waves emanating from one direction, and another source of equilibrium with the other coming from the opposite side. At the point where these two sources meet, they will cancel each other and create a small space. So when you put an object into that space, it will stand still in the air , "Benmore explained.

Mr. Benmore hopes that this method of making aerospace floating objects has a magical effect on the production of new drugs.

The goal of the team is to use this method to develop drugs that are composed of indeterminate or fragile elements.

Benmore adds that human bodies are more likely to absorb non-crystalline drugs than solid, condensed and therefore more potent ones.

'We are working on a variety of drugs, especially HIV medicines. We are trying to find out in what form, solid or liquid, the drug will give the strongest effect , '' said physicist Benmore.

The type of drug that best fits the uncertainty of form and finding out how mass production is currently the biggest difficulty in commercializing drug development in the air.

However, with the potential for promising more effective drugs, Benmore said that pharmaceutical companies will soon develop this method.
