Japan transferred rice processing technology to Vietnam
Satake Group, a Japanese food processing company, recently announced it will support rice milling and processing technology for a Vietnamese agricultural company.
Satake said that under the agreement between the two sides, An Giang Plant Protection Joint Stock Company (AGPPS) will receive equipment and technology support in 4 segments such as drying, polishing, analyzing and managing. quality rice.
AGPPS is known by Japan as a leading plant and plant protection provider in Vietnam. The cooperation agreement between the two companies also aims to produce high quality finished rice.
According to 'Nikkei' (Japan), after receiving Satake Group's technology, AGPPS can produce advanced dryers to use at its high-quality rice milling plant. In addition, the company is also able to produce GABA rice itself, which contains many amino acids that are beneficial for human health. The newspaper 'Nikkei' judged that once the quality of Vietnamese rice increases, Satake's reputation will be well known.
In 2012, in addition to the order to build a large-scale rice milling plant from a Cambodian rice export company, Satake Group also increased production capacity for a rice processing factory in Thailand. As Asia is considered to be the major rice export center in the world, Satake is expected to promote technology transfer with rice processing enterprises in this region.
