June will license new Wi-Fi standards

Information from the Wi-Fi Alliance says they are preparing to license new generation products for wireless Internet connectivity. Accordingly, in June 2007, devices such as wireless routers, network cards, processor chips and other products called 'Sketch N' will begin licensing soon. Previously, this technology standard is expected to be licensed before the 2009 deadline.

These devices are named according to the 802.11n technical standard, or the 2.0 wireless access standard, developed by the IEEE Institute of Electronic Technology.

The 'N' -based products that use complex wave technology are believed to be capable of transmitting better signal waves even when encountering obstacles such as house walls or radio waves, creating output stable access channel in case of downloading video files.

It is known that nearly 200 million 'N' class wireless network access devices have been provided to users, agents providing assurance that these products are compatible with devices. Wi-Fi has been licensed before.

Austin Technology Group's marketing director Karen Hanley judged that the 802.11n standard will be integrated for most popular products like laptops, mobile phones, TVs and game consoles.
