Professor Min obtained this result in an experiment on fruit flies.
Pinitol is a substance extracted from carob seeds and adds the ability to regulate the blood sugar of Chiro-inositol, increasing insulin resistance. Pinitol is often used to treat diabetes.
According to research results, the average life span of fruit flies absorbing pinitol has increased by 20% compared to fruit flies that do not absorb this substance. This result will be published in the Journal of Geriatric Medicine in October this year.
Professor Min expressed his wish that the research results will bring a better life to the elderly while the world does not yet have any effective anti-aging drugs.
