LG develops flexibility, good resistance and applies in many fields

LG Innotek, a subsidiary of LG, has successfully developed a new high pressure sensor with high durability, coupled with extreme temperature resistance.

This new type of sensor is made of polyurethane material - an extremely flexible polymer - which makes it easy to integrate into many of the technology. And as you can see on the image, it can be easily bent, flexible like a fabric, not hard and less flexible like current force sensors.

This sensor works normally under a 70kg weight over it 100,000 times.

The durability and resistance of the new sensor are also two highlights, known to work in temperatures ranging from -40 ° C to 80 ° C, and LG says it will still work usually under 70kg weight over it 100,000 times.

LG says its new power sensors can detect and calculate a wide range of operating pressures on a large surface, and as mentioned, it is applied in many areas thanks to its high flexibility:

  1. Health : For example, be integrated into shoes, on the carpet to learn the movement of the patient, balance
  2. Sports : Built-in golf grip, help owners know the grip when watching over the application connected on the phone.
  3. In the car : Built into the automatic seat, the driver's body type, which automatically adjusts seat height, airbag pressure.

LG has not yet commercialized this new type of force sensor, only to know that compared to the force sensor (usually in the form of a coin), the new force sensor is superior and also more potent.
