The large ripples that surfaced on the lake surface made many believe that it was caused by "monsters" in the lake.

"See, it's here. It's here (Kanas Lake monster) " , a woman's scream in the video was filmed on May 15.

The first "monster" was "discovered" in 1980 and Kanas Lake has attracted tourists since. Many people rushed here to look forward to seeing monsters in the lake.

A worker also recorded scenes of large ripples floating on the lake surface that many believed was caused by "monsters" in the lake.

However, not everyone believes in the rumors of Kanas Lake's "monster" . Yuan Guoying, a local environmental expert, believes that the "Kanas Lake monster" is actually a colony of Siberian giant salmon.

"What really happens in the water is the huge Siberian salmon that hunt small fish. And the smaller fish have to swim near the water to avoid salmon," Yuan explained.
