In July this year, Mineo Higa's farm in Nakijin village (Okinawa, Japan) attracted many people to visit. The mango tree in his home garden has landed up to 800 fruits, setting the record for the most wrong fruit in the region and Japan.

The 29-year-old mango tree is only over one meter tall but the canopy is wide with a diameter of up to 10m. Therefore, Mr. Higa was forced to cut off the trees growing around. He also had to make the scaffold, hang the branches to avoid being broken.

Normally, a mango tree produces about 100 fruits. Last year, his mango tree Higa harvested 400 fruits.

" We reduce pesticides, produce safe, healthy fruits. Our goal is to harmonize agriculture with the surrounding environment ," said Higa.

Mr. Higa found that the ticks eat off harmful insects that cling to the outside of the trunk. Therefore, he gathered the mites and released them in the mango garden. As a result, plants have less pests.

According to Ryukiu Shimpo, the cool garden owner also plans to register the Guinness World Record for his mango tree.
