Massive dead fish throughout the coast of the Gulf of Mexico
Houston Chronicile electronic newspaper released on August 12 said hundreds of thousands of dead fish were washed off the Gulf of Mexico coast in the state of Houston in the United States. The cause of this phenomenon may be due to a significant decrease in sea oxygen.

Dead fish drifted to Bermuda beach in Galveston, Texas.
The scientists say that most are small herring species, which are very sensitive to changes in oxygen levels in seawater, and it is possible that this fish dies due to rising temperatures while oxygen density down again.
Peter Davis, in charge of the Galveston Island patrol team, also confirmed the information on the newspaper was true, and said it was the worst dead fish phenomenon in the sea since 1983.
Mr. Davis said he did not see anything unusual the night before, but the following morning saw fish died white along the coast.
While experts understand the exact cause of killing fish, the sanitation teams have embarked on clearing the coast.
