Telegraph said Dove cosmetics group has just conducted a survey for 1,000 men about their housework habits. The results showed that, on average, men participating in the survey spent more than 13 hours / week doing things like dumping garbage, cleaning the floor, cleaning toilets or changing bed sheets. For more than 13 hours, they spent an average of 4.7 hours for housework, 1.5 hours for self-care activities and 6.9 hours for child care activities.

But sadly, 60% of the participants said that the women in the family did not pay attention to their efforts because men often did not "speak out" about things they had done in the house. More than 50% feel that women tend to inflate the amount of housework they do.

Housework that most men do is dump garbage. 85% of the survey participants said that they were always clean at the end of the day. 80% of men often follow their wives or lovers to market or carry bags. Buying food is the third most popular job. 78% said they were responsible for the food in the fridge every week.

Paul Connell, brand manager of men's products Dove, commented: 'Our research shows that modern men increasingly contribute to housework. We used to think that most men don't want to do chores in the house, but today that's not true anymore. '
