Mexico announced an alarming situation because of the hot sun
On May 14, the Mexican Ministry of Health announced an alarming situation at all health facilities and hospitals due to fears that the current hot weather in the country would trigger outbreaks. The current temperature measured on most Mexican territory is above 40 degrees Celsius, with the highest place reaching 47 degrees Celsius.
Before the harsh weather situation, Mexico's Ministry of Health warned of the risk of outbreaks of heat-induced diseases such as sunstroke, dermatitis and acute diarrhea. The Ministry has also instructed and assigned medical facilities to monitor the status of epidemics and public health as well as provide medical and medical equipment.
Due to the effects of global climate change, the main cause of this situation is the increase in greenhouse gas emissions worldwide, the temperature measured in southern Mexican states such as Guerrero, Jalisco above 40 degrees C.
Meanwhile, temperatures in other 16 states range from 36-40 degrees. Especially from the beginning of April until now, the temperature at San Francisco del Caiman is always at the highest level with 47 degrees C.
