On May 14, the Mexican Ministry of Health announced an alarming situation at all health facilities and hospitals due to fears that the current hot weather in the country would trigger outbreaks. The current temperature measured on most Mexican territory is above 40 degrees Celsius, with the highest place reaching 47 degrees Celsius.
