Microsoft hired people to edit information on Wikipedia
Microsoft has just paid to hire an Australian blogger to edit the information related to its Office Open XML standard on the Wikipedia encyclopedia page.
The world's largest software company said it has discovered some errors in the article about Office Open XML standards. However, editing yourself on Wikipedia-related articles often conflicts with interests, is not respected and is often criticized by the community.

Rick Jelliffe, a man hired by Microsoft, wrote on his personal blog that he accepted Microsoft's offer from Monday (January 22). However, he also said that the intention of Microsoft is to edit the errors in the article rather than inserting information that benefits the company.
Meanwhile, Wikipedia founder, Jimmy Wales, told the press that he was extremely disappointed in Microsoft's work. Earlier, Jimmy Wales also hangs out some people hired to write name polishes for others for profit purposes.
For its part, Microsoft said it wanted to edit the information on Wikipedia because it had enough grounds to believe the article was posted by IBM employees, including some information that was detrimental to Microsoft. .
