Mysterious explosion shakes the northeast of the US
Authorities are investigating the cause after many residents in New Hampshire, Massachusetts reported hearing a loud bang and feeling the shaking.
According to the New York Times, residents in New Hampshire and Massachusetts reported that they heard a loud noise that sounded like an explosion and felt what appeared to be a large collision on October 10. Many people thought that there was an earthquake.
However, an official from the National Earthquake Information Center, part of the US Geological Survey, said there was no evidence of earthquakes in the New England region - northeastern US - in the past week.
Some local residents even wondered if the explosion came from a meteorite or an airplane.

Soon after, his fire department received numerous calls about explosions.
