Mysterious glowing columns appeared in the American sky

Photographer Vincent Brady from Michigan has published photos of the strange phenomenon of 'pillars of light' like UFOs appearing in the sky at the eastern edge of Lake Superior.

In Brady's photo, a series of bright columns in the sky made the UFO hunters startle. Some might argue that this is a Photoshop product.

Strange bright pillars appeared in the sky of Michigan.

'This is a rare phenomenon. I love hunting this strange phenomenon. It is a very unique phenomenon. A lot of people who first encounter may think that they are seeing an alien invasion , " Brady said.

However, in fact, this is a phenomenon called "light pillars" . This phenomenon of cylindrical light is formed by reflecting the light of hexagonal ice particles, forming in the lower atmosphere than usual.

Many people who do not know the 'light pillar' phenomenon may think this is an alien invasion.

Under ideal conditions, ice molecules form a giant mirror, reflecting light. The light source reflected to these giant mirrors comes from cars, city lights on the ground, etc.

Many people, lucky enough to see this phenomenon, can think of these bright columns from the sky. But it is actually light that is reflected from the ground to the atmosphere, then reflected back.
