Mysterious newborn baby ignites himself

Indian doctors are trying to confirm the cause of a 6-day-old boy who automatically caught fire.

>>>Decipher real damage "phenomenon" who spontaneously ignited like a fireball

The newborn boy was taken to the Kilpauk College of Medicine (KMCH) in Chennai, the capital of Tamil Nadu state, in southern India after his family found him abruptly ignited. The boy is being watched closely around the clock.

K Rajeswari, the boy's mother, said the fire suddenly burned on her son's legs last weekend, 6 days after the boy was born. A group of 5 experts at KMCH hospital, including pediatricians, psychiatrists and plastic surgeons are conducting tests for newborns.

According to the hospital director, after the test results are available, the experts will decide the direction of treatment for the boy.

This is not the first time Ms. Rajeswari, 22, announced that one of her children automatically caught fire. In August 2013, the woman also brought her 3-month-old son Rahul to the hospital to visit him with a statement that the boy had suddenly been burned for the fourth time.

After a series of tests, the doctors discovered, Rahul did not burn himself. This raises fears that the boy may be mistreated by his relatives or relatives and set on fire.

Although there is no final conclusion about the Indian baby's self-igniting fire, the phenomenon of self-igniting (SHC) is confirmed to be the cause of the deaths of many deaths, in which officials It is not responsible for detecting any obvious ignition from outside for the corpses that are burned.

An estimated 200 cases of SHC have been discovered around the world so far. Victims are often elderly, sick or drunk - the reason why they cannot escape the fire.

The scientific community has not yet deciphered the phenomenon, but they do offer a "light-wielding hypothesis" to explain such cases. Hypothetically, the human body can become a "upside down" candle . In it, people clothes act as wicks, the body fat is wax or flammable substance, causing the fire to continue to burn.

The limbs may remain intact in the case of SHC due to heat difference, with the lower half of the body being cooler than the upper half.

Some people surmise, static electricity may be the culprit that sparks fire, leading to SHC phenomenon.
