Video: A rare moment when a newborn baby is born in the amniotic membrane

The phenomenon of babies born while still inside intact membranes only occurs in one of 80,000 births.

According to Mirror, the video shot in Spain on July 6 recorded the sight of a baby born with amniotic fluid covering the entire body just minutes after the twin brother was born normally.

In the video, the newborn baby lies on the hospital table, curled up inside the puffy transparent membrane. Occasionally, the baby moves and every baby's movements with the blue umbilical cord are visible from the outside. The baby is not affected by the membrane by breathing oxygen through the umbilical cord.

The baby moves more and more and seems ready to get rid of the amniotic fluid to meet his twin. Normally, rupture of membranes ruptures during the laying process or poking with a knife during a caesarean birth.

Doctors and nurses gather around the table to monitor babies in rare births. Then, they poke the amniotic membrane to help her out. When the membranes rupture, the liquid inside spills. Doctors peel off the surrounding membrane and the baby is born as healthy as the babies born by conventional methods. In less than a day, the video attracted more than 6.8 million views.

In February this year, another baby in Spain was born inside the amniotic fluid. The doctor uses surgical scissors to trace a small hole in the membrane, helping the baby protrude faster. The video recorded births attracted a total of more than 26 million views on social networks.
