Mysterious under the ocean

Surveying the deep seabed, scientists have discovered more mysterious creatures than anyone could imagine. In a position approximately 3.2 km deep in the Atlantic Ocean, they found a species of shrimp living around a sprinkler mouth with temperatures of up to 765 degrees Fahrenheit (425 degrees Celsius), while the water around this location cold 20 degrees C.

In another location in the Coral Sea, they found a species of shrimp thought to be extinct 50 million years ago.

Beneath the Sargasso Sea in the Atlantic Ocean, researchers "collected" dozens of new species that were eaten together to survive or live on organic matter swept into the sea.

'Animals seem to find themselves a way to survive almost anywhere,' said scientist Jesse Ausubel.

The above information is part of a report published yesterday (December 10), as part of an ocean life study that is expected to be published in 2010. Participating in this work is About 2,000 researchers come from 80 countries around the world.

According to Ausubel, scientists only know about 16,000 marine fish species and 70,000 marine mammals. Recent findings show that there are many mysteries beneath the ocean that have not been discovered by humans!

Some discoveries under the outstanding ocean in 2006:

- Live shrimp and mussels near the extremely hot spray mouth in the Atlantic Ocean, where they face hot, almost boiling water circuits while the ocean is extremely cold.

- In the Antarctic waters, a marine community is covered in darkness beneath the ice of more than 487 m thick.

- Off New Jersey, 20 million fish swim into a herd in Manhattan waters.

- Discovered that the shrimp named Neoglyphea neocaledonica is thought to be extinct millions of years ago. Scientists call it 'Jurassic shrimp' .
