Mysterious blue ocean waves at midnight in California

A photographer has captured the image of the mysterious blue light that appeared at midnight on the California coast (USA).

American photographer Steve Skinner, 43, has recorded rare moments of a mysterious phenomenon on the Swami coast of California (USA). In the middle of the night, when the surrounding is covered by darkness, each wave of the shore in this area creates a mysterious and mysterious blue light.

'I have met this phenomenon many times before, but this is the first time I witnessed and recorded such wonderful and wonderful blue lights. The photos below were taken within an hour and I was very pleased with them, " said Steve Skinner.

The mysterious blue light phenomenon that appears in California is called bioluminescence caused by algae. When the waves hit the shore, it caused millions of organizations to be disturbed and emit blue light. This light is best seen on dark nights.

However, algae that emit blue light are harmful to creatures living in the sea, especially fish, because algae reduce oxygen levels in seawater. In addition, this algae also makes the sea change into a frightening red color during the day.
