NASA recently turned on a green light for the mission to lead an asteroid into orbit the moon, send astronauts to and use this asteroid as an outpost test space before arriving in Mars.
Currently the infrastructure development projects necessary for the above missions are being implemented simultaneously, such as the space launch system (SLS), the Orion multi-purpose spacecraft .
'Our next step is the deep space of the universe, where NASA will send a robot ship to catch and pull an asteroid to the moon,' according to Space.com to announce NASA's announcement this weekend. .
Accordingly, the astronaut on board Orion will explore asteroids in the 2020s, take samples and return to Earth.
The experience gained in this mission will help NASA test new systems, such as solar electric propulsion equipment, needed for the Mars project later.
