Both new NASA applications will give you a more detailed view of the surface of Mars, each with its own advantages.Mars Trek takes the same approach as Google Earth, you can interact with 3D images of the planet built on NASA's 50-year research base.

The image quality is quite good, you can choose to watch in 2D or 3D mode, including videos with important points marked by NASA during the research process. In fact, what we see is as detailed as the image NASA uses for its research program to find potential landing points for planetary exploration flights that is expected to begin in 2020.

If you want something more private, you can try the Experience Curiosity app to control the camera yourself and make a tour on Mars. Both applications are designed to work with any web browser and are completely free to use.
