NASA confirmed that there was water flowing on Mars

The US Aeronautics and Space Agency (NASA) confirms the flow of water on the surface of Mars, sparking hope for past or present life on the planet.

NASA said it found water flowing on Mars

According to CNN, at a conference held in Washington, NASA researchers said they found evidence of liquid water flowing on the surface of Mars.

Scientists have long since found ice water at the poles of Mars , in the planet's delicate atmosphere, even small puddles of night forming on the surface.

However, the discovery of flowing water on the cold and barren surface of Mars can lead to a breakthrough in the search for life on the red planet, whether or not this life exists or has disappeared. .

Today's announcement by NASA involves an image analysis report of Mars sent to Earth by Reconnaissance Orbiter, a probe that shows "dark grooves appear seasonally at many points on the surface." Mars". This is the result of saltwater flows down the slopes on the red planet.

The salt content of the water is very important, because salt helps to lower the freezing temperature of water, causing water to freeze at cold temperatures in Mars. Three NASA scientists are co-authors of the report, including Lujendra Ojha, the report's lead author. He was the first person to spot water streaks in 2011 and with his colleagues hypothesized about the flow of Mars, at the age of 21.

The report does not provide a solution to the source of water, however, scientists have suggested several hypotheses that it may be ice melting under the surface, or the result of abundant salt in the heart. Mars soil absorbs water from the atmosphere, or it may be a liquid that rises from the aquifer.

In April, Alfred McEwen, co-author of the report, published another study that suggested that salt in Mars soil is capable of absorbing water from the air and forming small puddles at night. In March, NASA announced that each had an Earth-sized ocean of Mars on Mars.
