NASA probe ship crashed into Mercury
The exploration ship Messenger of the US Aerospace Agency (NASA) ends its mission by crashing into Mercury, after more than four years of spinning around the planet.
The Messenger probe stabs Mercury to end the mission
According to NASA, the probe crashed into Mercury at 3:30 pm on April 30.Messenger collided with Mercury's surface at a speed of 14,000 km / h, estimated to create a 15.2 m wide crater on the planet's surface . The telescope system on Earth cannot observe this collision because it happens on the other side of Mercury.

" The end with an explosion impacting Mercury's surface is how we are doing to commemorate the successful mission of Messenger. Scientists will continue to analyze archival data to clarify the mystery about Mercury ", UPI quoted John Grunsfeld, NASA's director of scientific duties, said.
Messenger ship launched into space on August 3, 2004 and reached Mercury orbit on March 17, 2011. It performs the task of observing, studying historical information, the geology of the planet located near the Sun most.
After more than 4 years of operation, Messenger has provided many valuable data and more than 100,000 photos of Mercury. One of the biggest discoveries is the huge northern ice block, which is not illuminated by the Sun.
