NASA has just released a picture of the NGC 3918 nebula, which has an eye shape.

In the photo taken with the help of a Hubble telescope camera, a colorful gas cloud is brilliant in the constellation Centaurus, about 4,900 light-years from Earth.

According to scientists, NGC 3918 's outstanding feature is an " eye" shape with a bright central star and a more transparent outer cover. Such a phenomenon arises due to strong gas streams separating from the star at a speed of about 350,000 km / hour.

According to the criterion for evaluating astronomical phenomena, the nebula's "life" is very short, NGC 3918 has only a life of tens of thousands of years.
