New discovery of meteorite explosion in Russia
The fact that the asteroid exploded in the Russian sky emitted so strong shock waves that it 'traveled' the Earth to two loops before completely dissipating.
To draw this conclusion, researchers from the Atomic Energy Commission (France) used a sensor system designed to immediately detect evidence of any surface nuclear test. Earth face.

In particular, the researchers studied transmitted data of the International Tracking System under the management of the General Nuclear Anti-Treaty Treaty Organization (CTBTO).
Based on the collected data, they listed the explosion as the most shocking event ever recorded by the system, according to a report on the Geophysical Research Letters.
The monitoring stations scoured the ultra-low frequency sound waves, called down tones, often stemming from nuclear explosions. However, this system can also detect larger explosions from other sources, such as the Chelyabinsk event.
According to the French committee, the explosion sent out equivalent energy of 460 kiloton TNT.
It is known that more than 1,000 people were injured when a meteorite 17m wide, weighed 10,000 tons crashed into the atmosphere and exploded in the sky Chelyabinsk.
