New zeolite turns crude oil into gasoline
Research team led by GS. Ryoo Ryong of the Korea Institute for Advanced Science and Technology says they have found a new zeolite as a catalyst for crude oil to be as effective as several times the current catalyst.

The zeolite, which Korean scientists have found to be a new catalyst, makes the chemical reaction rate faster than the previous Zeolite-derived catalysts.
According to Prof. Ryoo Ryong, a new zeolite, makes the reaction rate several times faster than the current catalyst.
The new zeolite refers to a group of porous minerals. This porous structure of minerals makes the catalyst active by limiting molecules in small spaces in their crystals.
