Nuclear power plants in Ukraine have problems
On the afternoon of December 3 (VN time), Reuters reported an incident occurred at the Zaporizhye nuclear power plant - southeast Ukraine, which prompted the prime minister to ask the Ministry of Energy to explain.

Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseny Yatseniuk asked Ukraine's Energy Minister Volodymyr Demchyshyn to explain when the problem at Zaporizhye factory was resolved and further troubleshooting steps to restore normal power supply throughout. country.
The incident occurred at the No. 3 block of a 1,000-megawatt reactor at Zaporizhye plant causing electricity shortages on the national electricity grid. The cause of the incident is unknown.
It is expected that Block 3 will fix the problem and put it into operation on December 5.
