Photos of 30 years of disaster Chernobyl nuclear power plant

30 years ago on April 26, 1986, the worst nuclear disaster in history occurred at Chernobyl nuclear power plant in Chernobyl, Ukraine, which later became part of the Soviet Union.

Radioactive substances sprayed into the air when a terrible explosion occurred, causing pollution across the borders of Ukraine, into Russia, Belarus, and a large part of Northern Europe. More than 30 people were killed on the spot when disaster struck and the spread of radioactivity caused many deaths and illnesses. More than 350,000 people have been evacuated from contaminated areas during the years following the disaster.

Let us see some images of Chernobyl stored in history and today.
