Arianespace said the fourth flight in 2006 of the Ariane rocket carrying three satellites is scheduled for October 12.

Ariane 5 ECA missile, Ariane's heavy version will take off between 8:56 and 56:56 GMT from Kourou space airport (French Guiana). The missile will be put into orbit of DirectTV95 satellites of American company DirecTV, Optus D1 of Optus of Australia and LDREX-2 test satellite belonging to the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency space agency.

The rocket Ariane made the last flight on August 12, successfully orbiting the French military telecommunications satellite Syracuse 3B.
