Video: Missiles carry satellites falling after launch
The rocket carrying Russian information satellites fell to the ground shortly after leaving the launch pad, but it is unclear the damage information and the cause.
The Proton-M rocket carries the Express-AM4R satellite launched from Baikonur space airport at 1:42 this morning in Moscow time. According to the Russian Federal Space Agency Roscosmos, emergency engine shutdown signs were detected after the missile flew nearly a minute.
9 minutes after leaving the launch pad, Proton-M was determined to fall to an area outside Kazakhstan. RIA Novosti led the source to believe that missiles could fall into the Altai or Pacific mountains.
There have been no reports of damage or casualties from this incident. However, other missile launch plans will have to be halted until the cause is determined.
Express-AM4R is Russia's most advanced and powerful satellite satellite, designed to provide Internet for remote areas of Russia at a low cost.
