Officially announced 3D Nebula model NGC 2440

The 3D model of NGC 2440 nebula simulation was published, making scientists curious.

This is the latest astronomical technology product of IAG Geological Physics Institute in Brazil. With this 3D model, we can observe and monitor how objects in the nebula NGC 2440 work.

The NGC 2440 Nebula is one of the most "veteran" nebulae in the Milky Way galaxy.

According to the 3D model described, the nebula central core structure NGC 2440 is said to be extremely complex and takes the most effort to conduct simulation, according to the Paulo Lago and Roberto Costa researchers at the institute. IAG.

To create the 3D model of NGC 2440 structural simulation , scientists also used more spectral resolution technology along with the cycle, velocity, and entire representations designed on data taken from Planetary camera (WFPC2) of Hubble Space Telescope (HST).

In addition to showing the most complete and detailed 3D simulation structure at all angles with the accompanying reference effect, scientists also used SHAPE tool software.

In the way that the model reproduces, the NGC 2440 nebula is a multi-polar nebula, with two bipolar components, in which large blocks are tilted about 85 degrees, the smaller structure of the nebula is tilted 35. degree.
