Patented help to sleep on the plane

Boeing introduced sleep aid for passengers on planes, which resembles a small backpack.

The new device makes it easy to sleep on the plane

The device is described as a vertical support system, with the design incorporating a mattress, backpack and a pillow to support the passenger's head and chest.

Upper head restraints are fitted to the face. The hinge structure of this unit allows the user to change the angle of deviation. Meanwhile, the two lifting wings open in front to help lift the passenger's arm and breast pads on the back.

"The raised mattress is separated from the backpack and breast pads integrated into the back of the backpack," Telegraph said.

Boeing has made no comment after filing for a patent. Earlier, some vendors introduced sleep aid devices on the plane.

Last year, two Israeli students made a plastic strip design, which stretched between the two seats, forming a separate space for passengers and helping them lean on. However, its disadvantage is to cover the TV screen and can block the entrance of the seat.

The ostrich pillow is another product, shaped like a soft ball. When taken over the head, it covers the entire face, prevents the light from reaching the face and has a hole just enough to breathe.
