People can go to space with the most powerful rockets in history

NASA is studying the ability to send astronauts into space with the most powerful missile launch system ever. This system will significantly speed up the plan back to the Moon and go to Mars of humans.

NASA previously planned to launch the Unmanned Mission EM-1 to the Moon's orbit in September 2018. This mission is expected to be launched by the most powerful SLS missile launch system of all time.

Since this is the first mission after decades of people not returning to the Moon, and being the first mission to be carried out by the SLS, NASA has yet to take people to control the mission.

But recently, NASA said it has calculated and studied the possibility of bringing astronauts directly involved in this mission. Earlier, the aviation agency is expected to take people into space by the Orion mission also from the SLS launch system, as early as 2021.

This is a big surprise when it is not like the traditional NASA standards. The opinion is that perhaps this is a sign that President Trump's administration expressed interest in bringing people back to the Moon.

"I know there will be many challenges related to this proposal, but in terms of technical feasibility and resources, we need to have an opportunity to foster efforts on manned flights, leading to people going further in space, " NASA administrator Robert Lightfoot said.

It is still too early to know how the manned EM-1 mission will work. But according to previous plans, the unmanned EM-1 mission is an Orion spacecraft that automatically collects data as it revolves around the Moon for 6 days at a distance of 70,000 km.

It can be seen that the manned Orion will be a short flight, ending quickly, like the Apollo 8 mission in 1968 - the first mission to fly the crew around the Moon's orbit.

In addition to the issue of preparation time for the mission, there will be many other issues that need to be addressed when taking this flight. The Orion ship currently does not have a living and working support system for astronauts, as well as the SLS launch system that has not yet passed the test when the rocket launcher has humans.

If all obstacles are overcome, EM-1 will be an important mission, as a prerequisite for its next missions, EM-2 is expected to be launched 3 to 5 years later. EM-2 will put people on the Moon for the first time since 1972.

However, the ultimate goal of the SLS launch system is not only around the Earth and the Moon, but its ambition is to bring people to Mars on a day in the near future.

Flights to the Moon are just a test for humanity's great expedition to Mars.

NASA hopes, flights that bring people to the Moon to live and work will receive valuable experience in preparation for the series of settlements on the red planet.
