People know how to use an oven at least 300,000 years ago
Scientists have just announced the discovery of a 300,000-year oven in Qesem cave (near the city of Rosh Ha'ayin, Israel ).
This helps them better understand the behavior of the community in the cave during this period, the US news agency UPI reported on January 28.
" We unearthed a pit containing a mixture of wood ash and animal bones in the Qesem cave, showing people digging this hole to grill meat ," said researchers at Tel Aviv University in Israel.

' This is an important landmark discovery in the development of human culture in which people use fire to cook for the first time and develop the development of camp fire to humans. Community gatherings and activities , 'said Dr. Ruth Shahack-Gross, working at the Israeli Institute of Science Weizmann.
