Angel Dolphin now lives in Japan's Taiji Whale Museum, after being discovered in Taiji hunting in January last year. It has no pigment on the whole body and is an albino individual. In fact, Angel has light pink skin and darker pink eyes.

According to Business Insider, albino happens when an animal completely lacks melamine pigments, a compound that gives color to the skin and eyes. Taiji is the 14th irregular colored bottlenose dolphin discovered so far. In 1962, experts discovered the first albino bottlenose dolphin in the world.

Researchers say Angel's health is being monitored by behavioral observations and routine blood tests.
