Plants grow into furniture shapes
A British company creates wooden furniture by trimming and shaping natural trees.
Furniture made from green trees
Full Grown Company trimmed young trees and shaped them when they grew up in a chair-shaped pattern . At certain stages, the branches are put together so that the object grows into a piece of solid wood.

According to IB Times, the whole process of forming the chair lasts from 4 to 8 years , depending on the type of wood used. Gavin Munro, founder of Full Grown, began testing the idea of making furniture from living trees in 2006.
"I like this way. It's like organic 3D printing technology, using air, soil and sunlight as fuel ," Gavin Munro said.
Full Grown's first chair is expected to launch in mid-2017, hanging and mirror frames will be introduced in late spring 2016. Seats and lamps cost about $ 2,500 and $ 1,000 - 1,500 respectively.
