" For us, this discovery is like an observer of bird detection of a rare bird. This is not only a new fungus with Norfolk or England, but also new to science," Telegraph said. by quoting Tony Leech, a mushroom researcher in Norfolk, said.
Previously, experts said this was a variant of the rare fungus Rayed Earthstar. Through DNA sequence analysis in Spain, they identified this as a new species.
