Portable Bicycles

The car is made by a British art graduate that allows the user to fold and fold in hand or drag on the ground.

Dominic Hargreaves recently graduated from the Royal College of British Arts. Boys often have to travel by bus and subway but can not ride to the stops because there is no parking. So he always walks.

' I used to buy a bike that was folded, but I did not find a good one because it was bulky or not comfortable. So I came up with the idea of making a new car that could be carried on a train or a bus , 'he said.

His car, Contortionist, has just been put on the list of an international competition and design unique. Wheel diameter is 66 cm.

" The folding bicycles on the market today are not compact enough for people to carry around every day ," said the 24-year-old . All components on the Contortionist will fit in two wheels when you fold it. The wheel still rolls in a folding state, so the user can pull the car if he does not want to hold it in his hand or pocket it . '

Hargreaves hopes the car will be available in the UK next year for around £ 400 ($ 560). Contortionist design is still not complete and he needs money to continue his research. Hargreaves is calling for some companies to fund his research.

According to Hargreaves, the current version works hydraulically, but the future version will have a spring link between the pedal and the wheel.
