This is a sand-like metal powder, called sodium silicide , which can produce hydrogen gas as soon as water is poured. This powder is safe to react and produces hydrogen gas at a pressure about half that of normal sodium carbonate. Hydrogen generated will be used to run electric motors in a bicycle-mounted box.

With only a powder box weighing about 700g, a bicycle can run a maximum of 96 km / h compared to the limit of 32 km / h of conventional lithium-ion bikes. In particular, this powder charger is cheap, can replace new powder for reuse and can use any kind of water to generate electricity.
