Privacy Visor - Glass face recognition

Facial recognition software is becoming increasingly popular, and anti-recognition technology is just a matter of time. As usual, Japan continues to take the lead in this invention.

Glass against the machine's human face recognition

The National Institute of Information Technology in Japan is currently developing a type of glass called the Privacy Visor, which can mitigate the facial recognition of the machine.

The test version of the glasses was rather cumbersome, using infrared light to deceive the camera so that it could not see the human face. The second version is being tested, using new materials and new surfaces that absorb and dissolve light.

Thanks to the titanium frame design, this test looks better and the wearer looks like an actor from Hollywood fiction films.

It is known that these special glasses can deceive 90% of the time with face recognition software on the camera of the smartphone. If tested successfully, this product will be available in Japan in June next year for $ 240.
