The Department of Science and Technology of Hanoi yesterday sent a report to the city about the solution to ensure the living environment of Sword Lake Turtle, in which it is proposed not to attach electronic devices to turtles.

>> Controversy about mounting a Tortoise tracking device
>> Turtles will be equipped with navigation devices before releasing them to Sword Lake

Accordingly, if you need to locate the Turtle and assist in catching the Tortoise for treatment or later inspection, it will lead and isolate it according to the method used. While a turtle is being treated, if you need to see how many turtles are under the lake, the department thinks it can be done through visual observation and taking photos.

" When installing monitoring equipment, it is necessary to drill into the cartilage at the end of the turtle shell or tie the belt around the body to make the Turtle stranded or drowned when the belt entangles roots around the lake, " said Dr. Le Xuan Rao, The director of Hanoi Department of Science and Technology said.

Hanoi Department of Science and Technology also proposed to release some fish species such as drifting, copying, white sesame, flower sesame . to supplement food for turtles.

Recently, the Hanoi People's Committee has issued a written request to continue the pilot implementation of the sludge extraction of Sword Lake by German technology.
