Purify the water with a dense stalk

Moringa oleifera seeds (Moringa oleifera) can filter water, clean bacteria and impurities from the water.
Using moringa seed meal (Moringa oleifera) to kill bacteria, clean drinking water for people is a new study of Pennsylvania State University (USA).

This plant lives in hot climates in Asia, Africa and South America, and an adult tree can produce 15,000 seeds. It is also known as the 'miracle tree'.

Scientists crushed seeds and mixed them with water. As a result, after 1 hour, when the powder settles down, they pour water to remove the seed particles, indicating that the antibacterial protein from the granular beams is secreted to the outer surface of the grain. Researchers also found that the clustered seed could kill E. coli in the water. It can clean clay from muddy water.

The study has provided a scientific basis for the use of moringa beams to purify water and food in folklore in India. Scientists are still working on ways to create efficient and inexpensive home-based water purification from the dendritic seed.
