Put telescopes into space with balloons

At a conversation in the Aspen idea festival in the United States, physicist Richard Massey shared his opinion on devices that would broaden people's vision in the future, by experimenting with observing glasses Through Earth's atmosphere with balloons.

The project was named HALO by the research team, which involves releasing a high-tech bubble to the highest level of the atmosphere, accompanied by a telescope suspended below.

The goal of the project is to consider the maximum height of the balloon. According to Mr. Massey, the ball can bring observation glass into space the size of a football field.

The study aims to reduce the cost of bringing telescopes into space in the future. The Hubbles and Chandras telescopes are the two main tools for collecting expensive data about distant universes, but both telescopes are quite expensive.

The Hubbles telescope was launched into orbit in 1990 at a cost of $ 2.5 million, while Chandra entered the universe in 1999.
