Quang Nam: discovering two ancient bronze drums
Two bronze drums were discovered by people leading A Xan commune, Tay Giang highland district, Quang Nam.
One was quite intact, the center of the drum was decorated with the sun with six rays of sun, decorated with four frogs in the same direction clockwise.

The other has broken the bottom of the drum, the sun-shaped decoration area between the empty hole has a hole. On the blank surface, there are 4 frogs turning in the opposite direction of the clock.
According to an archaeologist, these two bronze drums may be Heger II, dating back about 2,000 years.
Both bronze drums were displayed at home in the traditional village of the Spiritual Village in To Vieng town, Tay Giang district.
